Meet Our Transitional Minister
Yung Me Suh Morris is a Korean American born in South Korea, who immigrated with her family in the 70’s and was raised in Chicago, IL. Yung Me is familiar with the challenges of juggling the demands and expectations of two worlds, two languages and multiple cultural/religious traditions. She earned her BA and MA in Christian Education from Wheaton College and earned her MDiv from San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Yung Me’s major accomplishments include celebrating 16 years of marriage to her best friend and actively being a mother to three remarkable children. Among her lesser accomplishments Yung Me has worked and climbed the corporate ladder, worked as sole proprietor of her business/ministry as a Massage Therapist, and earned recognition in seminary for preaching and academic excellence. She also holds the unofficial record for the longest tenure as a seminary student.
Yung Me has had to recently give up her love of lasagna because of dietary restrictions to dairy. Anyone who knows her understands what a sacrifice this has been. She lives in Pleasant Hill, CA with her husband, Morgan, daughter, Melissa, their dog, Fuzz Aldrin Morris and their cat, Forrest Gump Morris.
